Facts

Lancaster I LL758 SR-A 101 Sqn. Op. Saarbrucken. Take off 17.06 Ludford Magna on ABC duties. Believed to have crashed Near Trembleur (Liege), 8 km ENE of Herstal. It is reported that all are buried at nearby Henri-Chapelle, but only seven were later identified and transferred to Hotton War Cemetery.
Thus, Sgt. Crowther is commerated on panel 228 of the Runnymede Memorial.
