Lancaster I PB687 UM-Q2 626 Sqn. Operation: Osterfeld. Take off 14.51 Wickenby.
Shot down over territory occupied by the Allies. The Lancaster PB-687 crashed at the West of Verviers, Kenneth McWilliam landed with his parachute near Pepinster Belgium.
Those who bailed out verry soon in safe hands, the three who died where buried at Hotton War Cemetery.
