Facts

News was received that the plane was shot down at 03:30 and crashed at Overrepen Belgium, with the loss of the entire crew. It is believed the plane was shot down by a night fighter piloted by Oblt Alois Lechner E/NJG2.
The crew were buried by the Germans with full military honours at St Trond Belgium. All were later interred at the British War Cemetery Heverlee
