Crashed on a road 2 kms S of Rochehaut (Belgian province Luxembourg), 7 kms NW of Bouillon at 01.00 hrs. Sgt (rear gunner) Alexander C. HOWE - 1367393 suffered severe fractured legs and was brought by civilians the the hotel "Modem" at Rochehaut where Dr Arnould from Bouillon gave first aid. From there carried by civil car to a hospital at Sedan, France.
Sgt Howe became a PoW (Camp 357 - PoW-number 401).
