Facts

Lancaster I R5734 QR-V 61 Sqn. Operation: Nurnberg. Take off 22.07 Coningsby. Homebound, and while flying N of track, believed to have been shot down by a Ju 88 flown by Maj. Rudolf Schoenert of NJG10, crashed at Monin (Namur, Belgium), 4 km NE of Ciney.
First they were all buried in a German cemetery at "Le Culot "(Belgium). All are now buried in Heverlee War Cemetery
