Facts

Lancaster LL 810-BQ-K took off from North Killingholme the 27th of May 1944, at 12 pm with 14 other airplanes of the 550th to bombard the Marshalling yard ROTHE-ERDE of AACHEN, east of the city. The target has been touched, in spite of the light mist covering the railways, during this night, following the mission's reports.
