Facts

The Wellington X9828 of the 101 Sqdn probably reached the target area, but on his return the pilot, F / Lt Bundey, reported by radio that he had lost a propeller. His machine disappeared over the North Sea, only the body of his co-pilot Sgt Arthur Page (25 y.) Washed up near Ostend. We do not know anything about the fate of the other crew members (F / Lt Bundey, his observer Sgt Lewis, the radio operators Sgt Hayter and Sgt France and the rear gunner Sgt Thompson).
