Honored to the MEMORIAL OF RUNNYMEDE

Survived. Picked up by Belgian Underground, he obtained papers which enabled him to pass as a Belgian national. Arrested and sent to camps in Germany. Died 23 January 1945 in concentration camp at Neuengamme (heart failure, possibly caused by lethal injection). Body cremated; name on Runnymede Memorial.
