Ceremonies of remembrance to Lichtervelde

On June 15th, the authorities of the city organised few services of remembrance to the fallen of WWII in the municipality.
First, a laying of wreaths to the Memorial of the Aircrews of 550 Sqd Lancaster LL810-BQ-K fallen on May 28 1944; all the crew was killed in action).
Then, a service of remembrance to the church of Lichtervelde, a service of laying of wreaths in memory of the Resistants of the city whom were deproted and died in the concentration camps
Finaly, everyone has gathered to the cemetery to see all descendants of the deported flower with a rose the monument of the Heroes.

Service of remembrance to Marq (Enghien)

Local Veterans associations organised a service of remembrance to the church of Marcq, followed by a laying of wreaths to the monument of the Deaths of Marcq and finaly, to the monument of the Resistants of "Armée Secrète" (Secret Army) died in action during WWII in the region.
We laid a wreath there. (See more here)

Unveiling of the Memorial of Sint-Niklaas

Saturday May 25th, People of Sint-Niklaas organised a service of remembranceance during which, a monument was unveiled.
This memorial was rerected in the memory af the airmen fallen there on May 22nd 1944 with the Lancaster LL 851-BQ-V of the 550 Sqd North Killingholme, coming back from a mission of bombing on Duisburg.
The seven airmen were killed in the incident.

National ceremony of tribute

We organised the national service of remembrance which took place to the Memorial of Rebecq (Walloon Brabant), dedicated to the Aircrews of R.A.F. and Commonwealth A.F. fallen during WWII in Belgium.
The service organised for the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Belgium, happened in the presence of the representative of HM the King of the Belgians
