Facts

Shot down, probably at 2315 hours 10km West of Roermond, by a Bf110 flown by Uffz. Hans Fischer of 12/NJG1. Crew who were killed are buried at Heverlee War Cemetery.
LL639 JI-R crashed in Belgium with the loss of six of the crew, and one Prisoner of War (Sergeant E.L. Hulmes, navigator)
