Facts

Wellington IC N2849 PM- Opersation: Duisburg. Take off 23.00 Newton. At 2.25 a.m. the Welligton piloted by Squadron Leader Dermot Kelly was hit by Flak and on their way home the airplane was intercepted by a night-fighter, the Messerschmidt ME110 of Lt Reinhold Knacke. The aircraft crashed at Hamont (Belgium).
