Facts

Lancaster I ME843 LE-U 630 Sqn. Operation; Wesseling. Take off 23.27 East Kirby. Believed shot down by a night-fighter, crashing in flames between Hamont, Belgium on the Belgian-Dutch border and Bocholt, a small town 3 km NNW of Bree, Belgium. All are buried in Heverlee War Cemetery.
