Facts

Wellington DF665 VR-Q set off from Topcliffe on the evening of August 28th for a raid on Saarbrucken Germany.
Over the French and Belgium border near the town of Givet the Wellington was attacked by a night-fighter of 1/NJG4 and crashed at around 2300 hours.
Four of the crew were killed and another became an evader.
