Facts

In the night of 20/21 April Bomber Command organizes a raid to Mannheim. A plane would be lost in our country. The Hampden X3119 'OL-R' of the 83 Sqdn crashes near the West Flemish Houthulst near "'t Vijvertje". Four charred bodies are buried at the municipal cemetery.
