Facts

Mission-Armed Reconnaissance. Took off from RAF Honington at at 1536 hrs. Lost after been attaked and hit by two Me1095. Sgt Mansfield rests in the Canadian War Cemetery at Adegen in Belguim, while at Vlissingen in Holland can be found the grave of Sgt Partington, whose parents lived in Buenos Aires.
The rest of those who died are commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial.
