Local Veterans associations organised a service of remembrance to the church of Marcq, followed by a laying of wreaths to the monument of the Deaths of Marcq and finally, to the monument of
the Resistants of "Armée Secrète" (Secret Army) died in action during WWII in the region.
Gilbert Beeckmans, President and Wilfred Burie, General Secretary laid a wraith for "The Belgians Remember Them".
