Facts

Hodge was the only survivor of the crash escaped. His crew, Lakenheath party, was the F / Sgt George Arthur Cozens (pilot), Sgt Robert Froude Hathaway (co-pilot), Sgt Patrick Hodgkinson (mechanic), the P / off Lewis William Curtis (upper gunner), Sgt William John Williams (rear gunner), the F / Off Ernest George Redman (navigator who jumped, fate unknown). All are buried at the military cemetery Heverlee. The F / Off RCAF JJ Needham (alleged bomber died in the hospital, he is taken prisoner No. 1784 Luftlag 3).
